Anyssa Coverston is an advanced scientist specializing in reference standards new product development. She holds a BS in forensic chemistry from the University of Central Florida and an MPS in forensic chemistry with a research focus in forensic biology from The Pennsylvania State University.
She began her career as a fingerprint analyst with the Miami-Dade Police Department's Forensic Services Bureau, where she spent three and a half years supporting criminal investigations through forensic analysis.
After joining Restek, Anyssa worked as a quality control technician for GC columns, gaining valuable experience in quality assurance and laboratory testing. She later transitioned into her current role as an advanced R&D scientist in the reference standards new product development department, where she develops high-quality reference standards that support scientists and laboratories across a wide range of industries.
