Aufgrund ihres allgegenw\u00e4rtigen Vorkommens in Umweltwasserproben (z. B. aus Regen, Fl\u00fcssen und Grundwasser) gewinnen die ultrakurzkettigen PFAS jedoch zunehmend an Bedeutung und ihr Anteil am Gesamtgehalt aller PFAS in Wasserproben wurde mit mindestens 40 % angegeben. Zu den ultrakurzkettigen PFAS geh\u00f6ren Trifluoressigs\u00e4ure (TFA), Perfluorpropans\u00e4ure (PFPrA), Perfluorethansulfonat (PFEtS) und Perfluorpropansulfonat (PFPrS), wobei TFA am h\u00e4ufigsten vorkommt, aber auch zu den am schwierigsten zu analysierenden Stoffen z\u00e4hlt. Wirklich umfassende Methoden zur PFAS-Analyse, die sowohl f\u00fcr ultrakurzkettige Verbindungen (einschlie\u00dflich TFA) als auch f\u00fcr alternative und traditionelle PFAS zuverl\u00e4ssige Ergebnisse liefern, sind f\u00fcr Programme zur Wasser\u00fcberwachung unerl\u00e4sslich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die kritische Herausforderung bei der TFA-Analyse ist die mangelnde Retention des Zielanalyten bzw. sein schlechtes chromatografisches Verhalten auf Reversed-Phase-S\u00e4ulen und HILIC-S\u00e4ulen. Andere S\u00e4ulen mit starkem Ionenaustausch k\u00f6nnen das gegenteilige Problem aufweisen: zu viel Retention und schlechte Peakformen. Im Gegensatz dazu kann TFA auf Raptor Polar X S\u00e4ulen zuverl\u00e4ssig retardiert und analysiert werden, weil diese einen speziellen Hybridliganden enthalten, der die Retentionsmodi von HILIC und Ionenaustausch vereint. Wie hier beschrieben, konnten wir eine schnelle und einfache LC-MS\/MS-Methode zur umfassenden PFAS-Analyse entwickeln, die f\u00fcr C2, C3, C4, C6, C8 und alternative PFAS geeignet ist. Selbst langkettige PFAS lie\u00dfen sich damit analysieren. Die Methode ist auf Trink- und Brauchwasserproben anwendbar und bietet Laboratorien, die ihren vorhandenen PFAS-Assay um ultrakurzkettige Verbindungen erweitern m\u00f6chten, ein einfaches Setup sowie einen hohen Probendurchsatz.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-custom-chromatogram-article-top\"><div class=\"chromatogram-article-placeholder\"><div class=\"figure-heading\"><strong>Ultrakurzkettige
