In den L\u00e4ndern der Europ\u00e4ischen Union wird enorme Arbeit geleistet, um unser Verst\u00e4ndnis dieser Auswirkungen zu verbessern. Dabei nimmt die Analyse der Fetts\u00e4uren eine zentrale Rolle ein. \u00dcberall in Europa arbeiten Lebensmittelforscher an der Harmonisierung der Methoden und unterst\u00fctzen Vorschriften, die die Unverf\u00e4lschtheit von Speise\u00f6len garantieren. Ein weiteres Ziel ist die Einschr\u00e4nkung des Verzehrs industrieller Transfetts\u00e4uren (TFS), die mit gesundheitssch\u00e4digenden Auswirkungen wie koronare Herzerkrankung in Verbindung gebracht werden [1].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zur Bestimmung des Fetts\u00e4ureprofils von Lebensmitteln werden h\u00e4ufig 100%ige Biscyanopropyl-Polysiloxan-Kapillars\u00e4ulen wie z. B. eine Rt-2560-S\u00e4ule verwendet. Damit lassen sich Fetts\u00e4uremethylester nach Kettenl\u00e4nge und Grad der Unges\u00e4ttigtheit sowie nach Position und Isomerie der Doppelbindungen trennen. Die Beschichtung einer langen S\u00e4ule mit einer d\u00fcnnen Schicht einer hoch polaren station\u00e4ren Phase ist jedoch extrem schwierig und selbst kleinste Abweichungen bei der Herstellung k\u00f6nnen Qualit\u00e4t und Reproduzierbarkeit nachteilig beeinflussen. Um die Konsistenz der Trennleistung zu gew\u00e4hrleisten, werden Rt-2560-S\u00e4ulen mithilfe eines optimierten Prozesses gefertigt und einer anwendungsspezifischen Qualit\u00e4tskontrollpr\u00fcfung unterzogen [2].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auch wenn wir jede Rt-2560-S\u00e4ule in unserem QK-Labor testen, wissen wir die wissenschaftliche Arbeit von Forscherinnen wie Christiane Barthel (Eurofins Analytik GmbH) sehr zu sch\u00e4tzen. Sie f\u00fchrte einen rigorosen Lebensdauertest mit Milchfettproben durch, um herauszufinden, ob die Rt-2560-S\u00e4ule f\u00fcr zuverl\u00e4ssige Pr\u00fcfungen unter realen Bedingungen geeignet ist. Milchfett ist ein besonders komplexes nat\u00fcrliches Fett &nbsp;und eine anspruchsvolle Matrix zur Bewertung der S\u00e4ulenperformance. Die Tests wurden mithilfe einer modifizierten Variante von ISO 12966-2 (Veresterung) zur Probenvorbereitung &nbsp;und anschlie\u00dfender GC-Analyse nach ISO 12966-4 durchgef\u00fchrt. Abbildung 1 zeigt konsistente Retentionszeiten und Trennungen selbst nach 225 Injektionen; ein Beweis f\u00fcr die robuste Performance der Rt-2560-S\u00e4ule zur Analyse von Fetts\u00e4uren in Milchfett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Restek bedankt sich bei Frau Barthel und der Eurofins Analytik GmbH f\u00fcr die Durchf\u00fchrung dieser Pr\u00fcfung.
