F\u00fcr nahezu alle untersuchten Verbindungen&nbsp;wurden instrumentelle&nbsp;Nachweisgrenzen von 1&nbsp;pg&nbsp;oder weniger erreicht. Lediglich f\u00fcr Benzoes\u00e4ure (14,70&nbsp;pg) und 2,4-Dinitrophenol (11,53&nbsp;pg) lagen die Nachweisgrenzen h\u00f6her.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Kalibrierungen zeigten \u00fcber alle Verbindungen hinweg eine gute Reproduzierbarkeit. Der relative Standardfehler (%RSE) der Kalibrierkurven lag durchg\u00e4ngig bei \u2264 20 %. Die linearen Bereiche erstreckten sich f\u00fcr die meisten Verbindungen \u00fcber 1\u20131000 ppb bzw. 10\u20131000 ppb; Benzoes\u00e4ure wurde im Bereich von 50\u20131000 ppb kalibriert.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Einf\u00fchrung&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Umweltpr\u00fcflabore analysieren halbfl\u00fcchtige organische Verbindungen (SVOCs) routinem\u00e4\u00dfig mit GC-MS oder GC-MS\/MS, h\u00e4ufig nach etablierten Verfahren wie der EPA-Methode 8270E. Zunehmend kommen dabei GC-MS\/MS-Methoden zum Einsatz. Der Grund daf\u00fcr ist die h\u00f6here Selektivit\u00e4t des Detektors, die empfindlichere Messungen erm\u00f6glicht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diese gesteigerte Empfindlichkeit ist insbesondere bei Probenvorbereitungstechniken wie der Mikroextraktion nach der EPA-Methode 3511 von Vorteil. Im Vergleich zu klassischen Verfahren, bei denen bis zu einem Liter Probe verarbeitet wird, lassen sich so sowohl Zeit als auch L\u00f6semittel einsparen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Damit das volle Potenzial der MS\/MS-Empfindlichkeit ausgesch\u00f6pft werden kann, ist jedoch eine hochinerte analytische S\u00e4ule entscheidend. Nur so l\u00e4sst sich ein optimales Signal-Rausch-Verh\u00e4ltnis erzielen. Voraussetzung daf\u00fcr ist eine breit wirksame S\u00e4ulendeaktivierung, die f\u00fcr Verbindungen mit sehr unterschiedlichen chemischen Eigenschaften gleicherma\u00dfen funktioniert. Diese Analyten interagieren \u00fcber verschiedene Mechanismen mit aktiven Stellen auf der S\u00e4ulenoberfl\u00e4che und stellen entsprechend hohe Anforderungen an die S\u00e4uleninertheit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die vorliegende Studie bewertet unabh\u00e4ngig die analytische Leistungsf\u00e4higkeit einer RMX-5Sil-MS-S\u00e4ule f\u00fcr eine Vielzahl halbfl\u00fcchtiger Verbindungen im Spurenbereich, darunter auch analytisch anspruchsvolle Substanzen. Untersucht wurden sowohl die chromatografische Performance als auch die erzielbaren Kalibrierbereiche, um die Eignung der S\u00e4ule f\u00fcr den Nachweis im Pikogrammbereich zu beurteilen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Experimenteller Teil<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Herstellung der Standards<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mehrkomponenten-Kalibrierstandards wurden in Methylenchlorid \u00fcber einen Bereich von 1\u20131000 ppb (11 Messpunkte) aus handels\u00fcblichen Referenzstandards hergestellt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ger\u00e4t<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Proben wurden auf einer RMX-5Sil MS-S\u00e4ule (30 m, 0.25 mm ID, 0.25 \u03bcm (Art.-Nr. 17323)) analysiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die GC-MS\/MS-Analysen halbfl\u00fcchtiger Verbindungen wurden mit einem Shimadzu Nexis GC-2030 in Kombination mit einem GCMS-TQ8050 NX Triple-Quadrupol-Massenspektrometer (EI-Quelle, UFsweeper-Kollisionszelle) durchgef\u00fchrt; die Versuchsbedingungen sind unten angegeben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tabelle I:<\/strong> GC-MS\/MS Methodenbedingungen f\u00fcr die Analyse von halbfl\u00fcchtigen Verbindungen im Spurenbereich<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td>Gaschromatograph <\/td><td>\n\t\t\t\tShimadzu Nexis GC-2030\n\t\t\t<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>S\u00e4ule<\/td><td>RMX-5Sil MS, 30 m x 0.25 mm ID x 0.25 \u00b5m (Art.-Nr. 17323)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Flow-Modus<\/td><td>Konstante lineare Geschwindigkeit (39.5 cm\/s)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Injektormodus<\/td><td>\n\t\t\t\tSplit (5:1)\n\t\t\t<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Injektor Liner <\/td><td>3.5 mm Topaz Single Taper Inlet Liner m. Die letzte Verbindung eluierte dabei nach knapp 21 Minuten (Abbildung 1). Zur Bewertung der S\u00e4uleninertheit wurde das Peaktailing am unteren und oberen Ende des linearen Kalibrierbereichs untersucht. Der Fokus lag dabei auf sauren und basischen Verbindungen, die aufgrund ihrer Reaktivit\u00e4t als besonders kritisch gelten. Wie Abbildung 2 zeigt, reduziert die inerte S\u00e4ulenoberfl\u00e4che Oberfl\u00e4chenwechselwirkungen insbesondere bei niedrigen Konzentrationen deutlich. Gleichzeitig werden symmetrische Peaks erzielt, die eine einfache und zuverl\u00e4ssige Integration erm\u00f6glichen \u2013 auch f\u00fcr analytisch schwierige Verbindungen im Spurenbereich. Dar\u00fcber hinaus beeinflusst die inerte Oberfl\u00e4che die Polymerselektivit\u00e4t nicht negativ. Dies zeigt sich in der guten Trennung eng eluierender polyzyklischer aromatischer Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Benzo[b]fluoranthen und Benzo[k]fluoranthen, selbst bei einer Konzentration von 1 Die Kalibrierungen waren \u00fcber alle Verbindungen hinweg stabil und erf\u00fcllten die vorgegebenen Datenqualit\u00e4tsziele; der relative Standardfehler (%RSE) lag durchg\u00e4ngig bei \u2264 20 %.<br>F\u00fcr eine repr\u00e4sentative Auswahl halbfl\u00fcchtiger Verbindungen wurde zus\u00e4tzlich der Bestimmtheitskoeffizient bestimmt. In allen F\u00e4llen lag R\u00b2 bei mindestens 0,99. Die linearen Kalibrierbereiche reichten \u2013 abh\u00e4ngig von der Verbindung \u2013 von 1\u20131000 ppb bzw. 10\u20131000 ppb. Lediglich f\u00fcr Benzoes\u00e4ure wurde ein h\u00f6herer Einstiegsbereich von 50\u20131000 ppb gew\u00e4hlt, was aufgrund ihrer eingeschr\u00e4nkten L\u00f6slichkeit auf 5-Typ-Phasen zu erwarten war.<br>Auch bei der Nachweisgrenze zeigten sich durchweg sehr gute Ergebnisse. F\u00fcr nahezu alle halbfl\u00fcchtigen Verbindungen wurden instrumentelle Nachweisgrenzen von 1 pg oder weniger erreicht. class=\"wp-block-heading\">Schlussfolgerung<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Ergebnisse dieser Studie zeigen deutlich, dass sich RMX-5Sil-MS-S\u00e4ulen sehr gut f\u00fcr die GC-MS\/MS-Analyse halbfl\u00fcchtiger Verbindungen im Spurenbereich eignen, also bei Konzentrationen im einstelligen ppb-Bereich. \u00dcber die gesamte Analytliste hinweg zeigte die S\u00e4ule eine hohe Inertheit gegen\u00fcber sauren, basischen und neutralen Verbindungen und lieferte durchweg stabile, lineare Kalibrierungen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besonders bemerkenswert ist, dass Peakform und -symmetrie auch bei niedrigen Konzentrationen erhalten blieben, bei denen reaktive Analyten \u00fcblicherweise problematisch sind. F\u00fcr 98 % der untersuchten Verbindungen wurden instrumentelle Nachweisgrenzen von 1 pg oder weniger erreicht.
