Amanda Rigdon
Amanda Rigdon is an analytical chemist with more than 21 years of experience in chromatography and mass spectrometry. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of analytical fields, including clinical forensics, food safety, environmental analysis, and cannabis testing. Her experience spans method development, validation, troubleshooting, and laboratory operations using both GC and LC methodologies. Amanda also served as Chief Scientific Officer of an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited cannabis testing laboratory, where she gained extensive experience in quality systems, regulatory compliance, and laboratory management. She is currently a Principal Scientist in the GC Applications Group at Restek, where she enjoys helping customers solve analytical challenges and sharing practical chromatography knowledge through technical support, presentations, and educational content.
