(Bellefonte, PA) Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an agency of the Department of Defense, recently presented Restek\u2019s Raymond Ciampichini, Vice President of Operations, with the ESGR Patriot Award for extraordinary support of employees who are in the guard or reserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Lieutenant Wesley Harpster (pictured right), a process development engineer at Restek and member of the PA Army National Guard, nominated Ciampichini for the award. Lt. Harpster\u2019s nomination focused on the support that Restek and Ciampichini have provided him through accelerated Officer Candidate School and drills. \u201cI am thankful for their flexibility and obvious loyalty to our service members and our country,\u201d Lt. Harpster shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

William J Burkhard, LTC, USA, Retired (pictured left), presented the ESGR Patriot Award to Ciampichini (pictured center) who said, \u201cI am deeply honored to receive this ESGR award and extend our heartfelt gratitude to our active-duty men and women serving our country. Your dedication and sacrifice inspire us all. Thank you for your service.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
