Elles n\u2019incluent pas les nouveaux compos\u00e9s d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat que sont les PFAS \u00e0 chaines ultra-courtes (C2 et C3). Ces compos\u00e9s gagnent en importance car ils sont omnipr\u00e9sents dans les eaux environnementales (ex. les eaux de pluie, de rivi\u00e8re ou les nappes phr\u00e9atiques) et repr\u00e9sentent au moins 40% de la quantit\u00e9 totale des PFAS pr\u00e9sents dans les \u00e9chantillons d\u2019eaux. Les PFAS \u00e0 chaines ultra-courtes incluent l\u2019acide trifluoroac\u00e9tique (TFA), l\u2019acide perfluoropropanoique (PFPrA), le sulfonate de perfluoro\u00e9thane (PFEtS) et le sulfonate de perfluoropropane (PFPrS), le TFA \u00e9tant \u00e0 la fois le compos\u00e9 le plus abondant et l\u2019un des plus complexes \u00e0 analyser. La mise au point de m\u00e9thodes r\u00e9ellement compl\u00e8tes, permettant d\u2019obtenir des r\u00e9sultats fiables pour les PFAS \u00e0 chaines ultra-courtes (dont le TFA), ainsi que pour les PFAS conventionnels et leurs mol\u00e9cules alternatives, s\u2019av\u00e8re donc essentielle pour les programmes de surveillance des eaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les principales difficult\u00e9s li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019analyse du TFA sont ses faibles qualit\u00e9s de r\u00e9tention et d\u2019\u00e9lution sur les colonnes en phase inverse ou en mode HILIC. Les colonnes alternatives reposant sur des m\u00e9canismes d\u2019\u00e9change ionique fort peuvent poser le probl\u00e8me inverse, \u00e0 savoir une r\u00e9tention trop forte et une forme de pic d\u00e9grad\u00e9e. Par opposition, le TFA peut \u00eatre analys\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re fiable sur les colonnes Raptor Polar X, car elles pr\u00e9sentent un greffon hybride innovant combinant les m\u00e9canismes de r\u00e9tention HILIC et d\u2019\u00e9change d\u2019ions. Ce document pr\u00e9sente une m\u00e9thode LCMSMS simple et rapide d\u2019analyse globale des PFAS, incluant les cha\u00eenes C2, C3, C4, C6, C8, et les PFAS alternatifs. L\u2019analyse de chaines encore plus longues est \u00e9galement possible. Cette m\u00e9thode peut \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019analyse des eaux potables comme \u00e0 celle des eaux non-potables, et permettra aux laboratoires d\u2019ajouter les compos\u00e9s \u00e0 chaines ultra-courtes \u00e0 leurs m\u00e9thodes existantes d\u2019analyse de PFAS.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-custom-chromatogram-article-top\"><div
