Ils garantissent ainsi des r\u00e9sultats fiables m\u00eame avec des dur\u00e9es d\u2019\u00e9chantillonnage longues sans perte d\u2019\u00e9chantillon par &#8220;per\u00e7age&#8221; et un risque moindre de r\u00e9trodiffusion<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Lors d\u2019un \u00e9chantillonnage &#8220;actif&#8221; \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019une pompe, le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de &#8220;per\u00e7age&#8221; se produit lorsqu\u2019une partie de l\u2018analyte pr\u00e9lev\u00e9 traverse le lit d\u2019adsorbant. Si la concentration de l\u2019analyte dans l\u2019air sortant est sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 10% de la concentration dans l\u2019air \u00e9chantillonn\u00e9, la poursuite du pompage entra\u00eene une perte d\u2019analyte et un calcul erron\u00e9 de sa r\u00e9elle concentration dans l\u2019air ambiant. Il en est de m\u00eame dans le cas d\u2019une r\u00e9trodiffusion lorsque l\u2019adsorbant ne retient pas suffisamment l\u2019analyte pr\u00e9lev\u00e9. Bien qu\u2019une r\u00e9trodiffusion reste possible avec les tubes radiello, leur grande capacit\u00e9 d\u2019adsorption autorise des prises d\u2019\u00e9chantillon bien plus importantes avant que celle-ci ne soit observ\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour r\u00e9aliser la comparaison ci-dessous, le benz\u00e8ne est pi\u00e9g\u00e9 par pompage sur du charbon actif et parall\u00e8lement \u00e9chantillonn\u00e9 par diffusion avec un tube radiello 130 (dans les deux cas \u00e0 25\u00b0C). Avec le charbon actif mettant en oeuvre un pompage, le \u00ab per\u00e7age \u00bb se produit \u00e0 des volumes de 35, 44 et 49 litres lorsque la concentration en benz\u00e8ne est respectivement de 100, 50 et 10\u03bcg\/m3.
