ADONA is the trade name for ammonium 4,8-dioxa-3H-perfluorononanoate (CAS #: 958445-44-8). The “A” in ADONA nominally refers to the ammonium cation of the complex. The sodium complex was used for the formulation of standards thus we’ve opted to used the acronym NaDONA instead. Both have identical conjugate acids (CAS #: 919005-14-4).
See our PFAS compound cross-reference for additional CAS #s of various salts and conjugate acids.
