How clean is Rezin certified clean SDVB resin?

31 Jul 2025

Rezin adsorbent is certified to meet specific specifications related to the EPA TO-13 method. Using that method, we extract a sample and base our results on 20 g of resin. This results in an acceptable PAH residue levels for 750 ppb for naphthalene, and 150 ppb for other PAHs (Acenaphthene, Acenaphthylene, Anthracene, Benz[a]anthracene, Benzo[a]pyrene, Benzo[b]fluoranthene, Benzo[g,h,i]perylene, Benzo[k]fluoranthene, Chrysene, Dibenz [a,h] anthracene, Fluoranthene, Fluorene, Indeno [1,2,3-cd]pyrene, 1-Methylnaphthalene, 2-Methylnaphthalene, Phenanthrene, and Pyrene).

Depending on your analysis, it may be possible to use Resin adsorbent directly from the bottle without additional cleaning. For sampling that requires even lower detection limits, additional cleaning may be required, but it will be less intensive compared to other resins.
