La migliore inerzia delle colonne Rxi-SVOCms consente di ovviare a questa problematica, con una deviazione standard relativa percentuale (%RSD) per il fattore di risposta media rispetto alla calibrazione iniziale di sei colonne pari a solo il 6% per tutti i composti e colonne (Tabella I). Deviazioni standard relative estremamente basse e costanti per il fattore di risposta garantiscono una maggiore durata delle calibrazioni, consentendo l\u2019analisi di un numero maggiore di campioni prima di dover effettuare una ricalibrazione. Come illustrato nella Figura 2, si registrano forme del picco e tempi di ritenzione stabili anche con diverse concentrazioni di piridina e pentaclorofenolo, che sono composti critici che tendono a scodare e spesso non superano i criteri di calibrazione nelle colonne a bassa inerzia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tabella I:<\/strong>&nbsp;La stabilit\u00e0 delle prestazioni comporta una minore necessit\u00e0 di ricalibrazioni, consentendo di analizzare un numero maggiore di campioni e aumentando cos\u00ec la produttivit\u00e0 del laboratorio. La migliore chimica della colonna garantisce una lunga durata delle prestazioni delle colonne Rxi-SVOCms anche in presenza di condizioni molto aggressive. Nella Figura 3 abbiamo sottoposto le colonne a ripetute iniezioni di un campione sporco, abbiamo monitorato le prestazioni di calibrazione e tagliato le sezioni contaminate ogni 30 iniezioni di campione. Anche dopo 300 iniezioni, le prestazioni sono state facilmente ripristinate con un veloce taglio della colonna, come evidenziato dalla percentuale inferiore al 10% di composti che non hanno superato il controllo di calibrazione post-rimozione. Migliorando le prestazioni con una semplice manutenzione di routine si possono analizzare pi\u00f9 campioni, riducendo i tempi di inattivit\u00e0 e le sostituzioni della colonna.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-custom-chromatogram-article-top\"><div class=\"chromatogram-article-placeholder\"><div class=\"figure-heading\"><strong>Figura 3:<\/strong>\u00a0Le prestazioni della colonna vengono ripristinate completamente grazie a un semplice taglio a seguito dell\u2019esposizione ripetuta a un campione altamente complesso. Le robuste colonne Rxi-SVOCms riprendono vita e tu puoi continuare ad analizzare i campioni anzich\u00e9 dover sostituire le colonne ed effettuare una ricalibrazione.<\/div><div class='chromatogram-article-inner-full'><div class=\"chromatogram-article-inner\">\n\n<p><em><em>Prova sperimentale di robustezza con 300 campioni<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><em>Ogni giorno sono state effettuate 30 iniezioni di un estratto di particolato di diesel (NIST SRM 1975), eseguendo una verifica continua della calibrazione (CCV) standard ogni 10 iniezioni di campione. Dopo la terza CCV giornaliera, la colonna \u00e8 stata accorciata e il liner, il setto e la guarnizione dell\u2019iniettore sono stati sostituiti. Per ottenere risultati accurati a livello di tracce occorre una colonna altamente selettiva ed efficiente che possa separare in modo affidabile i composti che eluiscono vicini. La&nbsp;Figura 5 dimostra che la colonna Rxi-SVOCms fornisce una risoluzione ottimizzata di 23 inquinanti prioritari, tra cui il benzo[b]fluorantene e il benzo[k]fluorantene, che devono essere
