Poich\u00e9 \u00e8 necessario identificare un\u2019ampia variet\u00e0 di composti chimici, le colonne a polarit\u00e0 media, come le colonne di tipo \u201c5\u201d, sono una scelta comune per l\u2019analisi delle droghe. I polimeri di silarilene sono fasi di tipo \u201c5\u201d strutturalmente modificate, che offrono una maggiore stabilit\u00e0 termica, rendendo la colonna \u201c5sil\u201d la scelta ideale per garantire una durata prolungata e prestazioni costanti con uno spettrometro di massa. Quando si analizza un\u2019ampia gamma di droghe, alcune classi di composti presentano un comportamento cromatografico meno favorevole di altre, il che pu\u00f2 rendere l\u2019identificazione pi\u00f9 complessa a causa dello scodamento dei picchi e dell\u2019alterazione dei tempi di ritenzione. I composti acidi (per esempio, i barbiturici) sono soggetti a una ripartizione non uniforme nella fase a causa delle forti interazioni tra i gruppi N-H debolmente acidi e i silanoli sulla superficie della colonna GC. Altre droghe possono avere gruppi funzionali basici (per esempio, le ammine) e formare legami a idrogeno con la superficie, ritardando nuovamente la ripartizione all\u2019esterno della fase della colonna, oppure, talvolta, venendo completamente adsorbite. Prevenendo le interazioni con i silanoli superficiali, i laboratori che analizzano sostanze sequestrate possono ottenere prestazioni migliori per i composti pi\u00f9 problematici su un\u2019ampia gamma di funzionalit\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per ridurre al minimo l\u2019impatto dei silanoli, Restek ha sviluppato una deattivazione TriMax di nuova generazione applicata a tutte le colonne della famiglia RMX. Questo trattamento rivoluzionario crea una superficie robusta e altamente inerte, che migliora la forma dei picchi per un\u2019ampia gamma di classi di droghe. Inoltre, gli analisti possono essere certi delle prestazioni della colonna, perch\u00e9 ogni singola colonna viene sottoposta a controllo qualit\u00e0 (QC) con composti acidi, basici e neutri, per garantire l\u2019efficacia della deattivazione e il controllo del processo. La polarit\u00e0 5sil plug-in, l\u2019elevata stabilit\u00e0 termica e la massima inerzia superficiale rendono le colonne RMX-5Sil MS la soluzione ideale per migliorare l\u2019identificazione delle droghe sequestrate (Figura 1). Inoltre, come mostrato in Figura 2, la colonna RMX-5Sil MS supera la colonna premium di un concorrente nel confronto della forma dei picchi per diversi analiti basici problematici (doxilamina, ciclobenzaprina, codeina) e per un analita debolmente acido (alprazolam). A parit\u00e0 di condizioni strumentali, si osserva un miglioramento nella forma dei picchi attribuibile unicamente alla massima inerzia della superficie della colonna RMX-5Sil MS, che minimizza le interazioni secondarie degli analiti con i silanoli, che diversamente potrebbero provocare uno scodamento dei picchi e una scarsa simmetria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
