Rezin certified clean SDVB resin (cat.# 27242) uses the same base styrene divinyl benzene material as clean SDVB resin (cat.# 24230), but it has been processed using a new proprietary cleaning process developed by Restek’s chemists. In addition, Rezin adsorbent undergoes a different quality check to ensure it meets specific cleanliness parameters.
While clean SDVB resin may have residue levels that are acceptable for specific sampling methods, some residues may remain for other compound classes, necessitating the need for further cleaning. If PAHs are not a concern, the residues levels of these other compounds classes may be low enough to use clean SDVB resin without additional cleaning.
For sampling that requires lower detection limits, Rezin certified clean SDVB resin is ideal due to its greatly reduced residues compared to clean SDVB resin and other resins. Depending on your analysis, it may be possible to use Resin adsorbent directly from the bottle, or if additional cleaning is required, it will be less intensive compared to other resins.
