Certificates of Analysis Are Online—No More Paper Chase!

30 Jul 2024

In 2022, we made some exciting changes to the packaging, labeling, and certificates of analysis (CoA) for our reference standards. No changes were made to our manufacturing processes, QC methods, ISO accreditations, CRM designations, ampuls, or the composition of the standards themselves, so you still get the same consistent high-quality standards that you are accustomed to, but now with the following improvements:

  • Smaller, safer, and more environmentally friendly packaging.
  • Labels with larger safety pictograms and direct QR code access to lot-specific certificates of analysis.
  • Updated reference standard CoA that streamline and improve documentation.

Now, we’re happy to announce a new improvement to our certificates of analysis—online, on-demand access! You can now simplify your processes by managing less paper, and we can further reduce our environmental impact. To access our improved reference standard CoA, simply scan the QR code on the product label and you’ll get direct access to the certificate for your specific lot so you can download or print it according to your lab’s standard operating procedures.

Scanning the QR code on the ampul label is quickest and easiest (Figure 1), but you can also access our certificates of analysis by visiting www.restek.com/documentation and manually entering the catalog and lot numbers. Links to this documentation search tool can also be found in our Resource Hub (Figure 2) and in the homepage header of www.restek.com (Figure 3).
