In GC one can choose from many different liners. There are however a few basic selection criteria that can help you to choose the best liner for your application. Liner selection depends first on injection technique and whether the sample is a liquid or a gas. Additionally, some sample matrices and/or components show challenges to evaporate and transfer, which needs special attention for selecting optimal liner.
